Two new Garmin watches now available at NRC: Garmin FR 230 & Garmin FR 630. Both feature larger screens and longer battery life than their predecessors, Smart Notifications including email, text, call and calendar alerts from a connected smart phone, as well as music control and Connect IQ which allows you to download watch faces, including the NRC Logo, apps, widgets and data fields. Garmin FR 230 features VO2 max estimates when used with HR monitor. Garmin FR 630 provides info on stride length, ground contact time balance and vertical ratio, as well as metrics associated with stress & performance as it relates to previous activities and lactate threshold.
