By signing, you agree to the following:
I know that training for, or participating in, an athletic event is potentially a hazardous activity. I should not train and/or participate unless I am medically able and properly conditioned. I agree to abide by any decisions of the State of Illinois, applicable local laws and the store staff relative to my ability to safely train or compete in an event. I assume all risks associated with training for, or participating in, such events, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, automobiles, spectators, the effects of the weather, including, but not limited to rain, snow, ice, heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the course; and exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 and any variant thereof and any other type of pandemic or flu related illness. I understand that roads will not be closed, security will not be provided and I will be responsible for my own hydration and nutrition and safety. I understand and agree that my photograph, video, or likeness may be captured during training sessions and/or the event and may be used without compensation by On The Run, LLC (Naperville Running Company) and the event's sponsoring brand(s) for social media, marketing, promotional, advertising, and other business purposes. I am 21 years of age or older. All such things being known and appreciated by me, having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my application, I, for myself, my family members, heirs and anyone acting on my behalf, waive and release On The Run, LLC (Naperville Running Company), its officers and directors, employees and volunteers from all claims or liabilities, including but not limited to personal injuries, death, disease or property losses, or any other loss, including but not limited to claims of negligence and give up any claim I may have to seek damages, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, of any kind arising out of my participation in such event(s), even though that liability may arise out of any alleged or unintended negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities named in this waiver.
